If the focus is to produce a free flowing exciting story then you shouldn’t correct every mistake.
The focus is on your child’s imagination- not on every spelling & grammar error. Beware, you could put them off writing for life!
Carefully choose which mistakes to correct- and set your child a REALISTIC target for their next piece of writing. Use your judgement.
