When I was a boy I was lucky enough to have several older relatives who loved to play cards- to win!
By the time I was 10 I could hold my own with policemen & WW2 veterans!
Not only was this good for my personal development and concentration, it was absolutely brilliant for my MATHS skills at school. In fact I’m positive that it was really the start of my MATHS degree!
If there’s something you want to do to help your children in the classroom read to them & with them, but also teach them card skills. It’s never too late.
By the way my favourite game is crib.
What’s yours?
