EARLY BIRD

( My children at an early age!)

You’re probably a parent if you’re reading this and as a fellow parent and the owner of Chorlton Tuition Centre the best advice I could ever give you for child is….

THE EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM.

This applies to you & your child for every aspect of their life- educational or otherwise.

I recently heard a story of a grandparent refusing to read a story to their young grandchild.

“Why should I read to them – they won’t understand anyway”.

Wow!

The best thing that you could ever do with your child is read to and with them- and this includes when they are babies.

Young children are constantly learning. There’s even evidence that they are learning inside the womb. Introducing learning early in life helps children associate education with fun, curiosity, and discovery. This positive attitude towards learning can carry through their entire academic journey. Early exposure to books, puzzles, and creative activities can cultivate a lifelong love for learning.

Children exposed to language-rich environments early on tend to develop better vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills. These skills are foundational for reading and writing proficiency later in life. Early education helps children become familiar with language patterns, storytelling, and vocabulary, preparing them for literacy.

Never underestimate your child!

If you regularly start reading with them from as early as possible they will learn to read- and by the time they actually go to school- they’ll be ahead of schedule.

This will make school life so much more enjoyable for them.

There are so many examples of this & not just for reading!

How about Venus & Serena Williams learning to play tennis.

Tiger Woods playing golf
