What are your targets for your child?

Research has shown that having goals in life can in itself increase the chance of success.

So should you have goals & targets for your child?

If your child is in Year 10 or 11 at High School they will have GCSE targets given to them.

How is this different for a younger child? Is this different for a younger child?4

The answer is no, as long as your targets are achievable.

There’s nothing wrong with having a target of a Grammar School for your Year 4 or Year 5 child if you have a plan.

Start from where your child is at and think how to bridge the gap to where you want them to be.

Test them regularly, don’t create unnecessary pressure. The sooner you start your preparation will increase your child’s chances of success.

Don’t rely on others. This is your child your responsibility.
