When it comes to making decisions about my children’s education, I’m in the same boat as you and every other parent.
Would I send my children to a private house for tuition or any other activity.
The only way the answer would be YES would be if I’d had firm recommendations from parents I know & trust personally.
I wouldn’t want any of my children to be alone with a stranger in their house- of course not.
I would want to know about insurance & DBS checks. I would assume that the teacher is declaring their income to Inland Revenue.
I want want to know the teacher’s qualifications & experience.
NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN I WOULD CHOOSE A TUITION CENTRE.
I wouldn’t choose a tuition centre if there were too many children per teacher.
I wouldn’t choose a tuition centre if the staff weren’t qualified.
I would expect to see an Ofsted Certificate to know that my children & the premises are safe.
If there were two or more members of staff at any one time I would be hasppy.
The choice is yours of course, it’s your child.
